Story of Impact

We love sharing stories of how God is using our collective efforts to bring hope to the people in our community.

Angela’s Story:

In early April, Hammer & Nails had the chance to help homeowner Angela with a few standard home repairs. With tears in her eyes, she let us know that this assistance was an answer to her prayers. She explained how she has been in chemo and would be heading back to the clinic within the next couple days. She said that her prayers for great news of encouragement were answered. Angela then went on to say that her life had been changed with hope from God.

What may seem like simple home repairs can actually be the thing that brings hope to homeowners like Angela. Thank you for helping us in our mission to care for our neighbors and to bring hope to those that need it most!

2022 Project Statistics

We completed 378 Homeowner Projects in 2022. In addition, we were able to install 24 wheelchair ramps in the past year. This was a huge undertaking with an enormous payoff for disadvantaged homeowners in Stark County, and it would not have been possible without donations and the help of our volunteers. On behalf of our team, thank you.

Wheelchair Ramps

Used Wheelchair Ramps

We are always looking for used wheelchair ramps! These ramps are used to greatly help individuals by increasing accessibility into their homes. If you or someone you know is looking to sell/donate a ramp, contact us today!

Completed Ramps

Check out a few of our completed ramps! With the help of our volunteers, planning crew, and installation crew, we have been able to install ramps that fit the unique needs and space of our homeowners.

Thank you for treating us with respect and doing such a good job. All of you were the greatest!!! The ramp is such a blessing as it makes it much easier for us to get out and back in. Thank you for all the kindness you have shown us.”
